About Us

Ascot Vale Anglican Church caters for people at any stage in their life’s journey.  The Parish is known for its welcoming spirit, outreach and good food.  God is at work in Ascot Vale, come and be part of it; enjoy the journey and make things happen.

An Anglican presence has been part of the Ascot Vale community since 1889, for more information about the history of our the church, visit the history page.

Long before Anglicans worshipped here, this was the land of the Wurundjeri people, and we wish to acknowledge them as Traditional Owners. We pay our respects to their Elders, past and present, and Aboriginal Elders of other communities who may be present on this land today. We pray for your flourishing.

We worship at All Saints Church on Whisky Hill, and the Opportunity Shop on Union Road continues to faithfully serve the Ascot Vale community.

The church community consists of people from diverse backgrounds and circumstances, from both Ascot Vale and beyond. We invite you to visit us at the church on a Sunday morning, or at the Opportunity Shop during the week.

The Rev. Gail Bryce became our Acting Vicar in October 2024.

We are a Church of the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne.

We support Nungalinya College and a hospital in Gaza.
